Sustainability in the mining and raw materials sector is a key target EU Green deal agenda. The aim of this work to determine degree importance risks that may impede sustainable mining, considering UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators initiatives, taking as case study Greece. A total 49 for under six categories, were identified by means expert consultation review literature. identification prioritization potential can provide pathway towards operations. factors weighting enhanced using new Fermatean fuzzy score function with Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA). proposed model powerful tool handle uncertainties inaccuracies information regarding weights risks. main research findings indicate most important Greece are irresponsible lack license operate, poor environmental monitoring, which directly connected scope SDG12: responsible consumption production.
